GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — There are reports of a brush fire in the Town of Mesa near the Mesa Creek Drainage Area. The fire is 5 to 7 acres in size and Plateau Valley Fire District is currently responding assisted by the Mesa County Sheriff's Office. No structures are at risk at the moment and the aviation team is working on air-dropping water to extinguish the blaze.
Responders are confident the brush fire will be extinguished soon.
