GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — An upcoming event will have a plethora of resources available for veterans, according to one local organization.
The Division of Veterans Affairs Western Region One Source, partnering with Veterans of Foreign War and Auxiliary 3981, will host a Stand Down and Resource Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, at Western Region One Source, 482 28 Road in Grand Junction.
The event offers seasonal clothing for veterans in need, snacks and community support and resources for veterans, service members and families. Free haircuts - provided by Great Clips - will be available for veterans.
