GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) - Rep. Lauren Boebert is hosting a listening session to hear about issues affecting Western Colorado in fields like agriculture, energy, water and land use.
The event - which is open to the public - will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Saturday, at the Colorado Mesa University Center Ballroom, 1455 N. 12th St.
The session will have panelists who will speak on various topics. The panelists and subjects include:
- State Rep. Matt Soper - general state issues and health care
- Delta County Commissioner Wendell Koontz - energy
- West Slope Colorado Oil and Gas Association Executive Director Chelsie Meira - energy
- Colorado Wool Growers Association Executive Director Bonnie Brown-Eddy - agriculture
- Halt the Dolores organizer Sean Pond - proposed Dolores National Monument and public lands
- Colorado Water District Senior Water Resources Engineer and Project Manager Raquel Flinker - water
- Attorney Jeff Hurd, who is also the Republican candidate for the 3rd Congressional District - proposed Dolores National Monument and water
