FRUITA, Colo. (KREX) - The Lower Valley Fire District quickly extinguished a fire emanating from a Fruita business early Wednesday morning.
The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. when LVFD discovered light smoke coming from the building around the 400 block of Jurassic Avenue. Firefighters determined the small fire originated from the kitchen of El Tapatio, a Mexican restaurant.
According to LVFD, Crews put out the blaze, preventing more damage to the business. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
