GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — The Grand Junction Police Department responded to a two-vehicle crash that sent both drivers to the hospital on Saturday evening.
At about 8:15 p.m., GJPD officers arrived in the area of U.S. Highway 50 and Sherman Drive. Both drivers were taken to the hospital to have their injuries evaluated; one driver sustained minor injuries while the other was suspected to have serious bodily injury.
The westbound lanes of U.S. 50 were closed at the time of the crash and reopened at about 9:55 p.m.
Alcohol is a suspected factor in this crash, according to GJPD officials. No further information is available.
