GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — As southern states deal with the aftermath of two recent hurricanes, North Carolina residents will receive supplies from Grand Junction to help with their recovery.
WesternSlopeNow talked with Susan Woods Friday about the hopes of filling a supply truck that was only halfway full. After the story aired, donation workers began to collect loads of supplies which are now routed to Swannanoa, North Carolina.
Before leaving Grand Junction, the truck was filled and another trailer was required to haul the rest of the supplies.
One could say this is yet another time Western Slope residents came out to support those in need.
