GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) - Four people were arrested Tuesday afternoon after allegedly shoplifting from an area business.
The Grand Junction Police Department received a shoplifting in progress report around 3:50 p.m., at Tractor Supply, 2449 Highway 6 and 50.
Officers - working with the GJPD's Intelligence Unit - located the suspects a few minutes after the incident, performing a traffic stop near Highway 6 and 50 and 25 Road.
Joe Tatum, 39, Jaiden Kennedy, 24, Elizabeth Tucker, 36, and William Darling, 26, were arrested on multiple charges related to the incident. The exact charges were not given in the GJPD press release.
The police department said in the release it believes this to be an isolated incident with no further danger to the community. The case is under investigation.
