GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) - Around 9 a.m., Monday, the Grand Junction Fire Department reported to a camp trailer fire on the 2500 block of C 3/4 Road.
Several callers said heavy smoke and fire from the trailer were starting to ignite nearby trees. Crews quickly extinguished the flames and put out those that spread to the treetops.
The fire department said the swift action stopped the further spread of the blaze to surrounding vegetation and property.
There are no known injuries, according to GJFD.
