GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) - The Grand Junction Fire and Police departments are asking the community to avoid the intersection of 25 and Patterson roads due to a single-vehicle rollover crash.
Around 1:51 p.m., Monday, a car crashed into a light pole that created a power outage around the area. All lanes of traffic are closed, according to the GJPD.
Injuries are unknown at this time.
Around 2:32 p.m., the police department said it will remain on the scene and the intersection will be closed for "an extended period of time." Xcel Energy is working on restoring power. Reports have said some of the power has come back while others remain in the dark.
