AUSTIN, Colo. (KREX) — Delta County Sheriff's Deputies arrested 20-year-old Luke Shelton of Grand Junction in connection with a shooting January 4th. They believe the shooting started after some workers argued with their boss at a ranch near Austin, Colorado. Shelton now faces charges of murder in the first degree and tampering with a deceased body, related to the January 4th shooting. Shelton's bond is set at $500,000. Delta Sheriff's Office identified the victim as 58-year-old John David Viera of Hotchkiss. Shelton is set to appear in a Delta County courtroom in mid-January.
