More than $54 million donated on Colorado Gives Day

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Colorado Gives Day was December 5, and Coloradans from all over came together to donate to 3,682 different nonprofits.

The final dollar amount of Colorado Gives donations reached a whopping $54.22 million, an increase of more than $1 million from 2022's total. Those dollars came from 91,346 donors across the state.

Sponsors for Colorado Gives Day and Giving Tuesday also pitched in more than $100,000 worth of prizes to 33 nonprofits.

Colorado Gives will distribute funds raised to nonprofits by the end of December.
