GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Fabric and crafts store Joann announced it will be closing its stores nationwide citing consumer demand and inventory shortage.
WesternSlopeNow talked to a customer at the Joann store in the Mesa Mall who recently learned about the store's announcement.
"I'm stunned. I am so disappointed, it's like what am I going to do," said Christine Elliot. "I mean, fabric stores are few and far in-between. Especially something like this that has everything I need in one place. I live in Eagle, there was a store in Glenwood, and they closed some years ago. I've managed to come this way and stock up and get supplies and be ready but now I don't know what I'm going to do."
WesternSlopeNow reached out to the store and has yet to hear back.
