MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) - Law enforcement is asking for the community's help in finding suspects who allegedly used a dubious card to receive cash money.
Around 2 p.m., Feb. 22, a male suspect - who had a cart full of items - went to a checkout stand at the North Avenue Walmart. He allegedly told the cashier he was using a "cash card" and to run it as "cash," according to Crime Stoppers of Mesa County.
The man then placed the card inside the machine but wasn't charged for the purchase and was given a receipt. Then, two additional male suspects allegedly went to the same cashier to run their transactions as cash. The estimated property loss is over $6,000.

They allegedly later returned the items to another Walmart in Rifle.
The suspects were described as Black men traveling together in a white SUV.
If anyone knows the suspects' location or identities, they can anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 241stop.com or 970-241-7867. Information that leads to an arrest can lead to a $1,000 reward.
