GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) - A man and his mother were arrested Thursday afternoon after an incident at the Orchard Mesa Maverick where both suspects allegedly attempted to flee.
The incident occurred around 4:40 p.m. when the Grand Junction Police Department responded to the gas station for a man with outstanding warrants. The man, identified as 29-year-old Cody Bosch, reportedly attempted to flee on foot when officers arrived.

A GJPD officer deployed her taser which led to Bosch being placed into custody. While this was happening, his mother, Roseanna Bosch, 62, allegedly threw a drink at officers and fled in her vehicle. The GJPD did not specify if the two were related but our reporter on the scene learned they were mother and son.
Although authorities tried to conduct a traffic stop, GJPD alleged Roseanna had reversed her vehicle into a police car. After she reportedly resisted arrest, officers took her into custody without further incident.
Cody was arrested and remanded to the Mesa County Detention Facility on outstanding warrants and other related charges. Although the news release didn't specify the warrants and charges, WesternSlopeNow learned he was arrested in 2018 for sexual assault on a child.
Meanwhile, Roseanna was arrested and remanded to the Mesa County Detention Facility on the charges of vehicular eluding, resisting arrest, obstruction of a police officer, aggravated driving with a revoked license and reckless driving.
Both of them sustained minor injuries and no officers were injured. It's unknown if either one was intoxicated, GJPD said.
The police department said it believes this was an isolated incident.
