MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) — The Mesa County Sheriff's Office held its annual awards ceremony on Wednesday, recognizing staff and citizens who go above and beyond to serve the community.
Awards were given to members of the Western Colorado Drug Task Force for the massive meth and fentanyl drug busts that happened in May, while two D51 students were recognized for cleaning up the Rocky Mountain Elementary Park after it was vandalized.
29 awards were presented to 96 individuals.
