GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — The Circle K Club at CMU will host Project Linus Wednesday night. Project Linus is a program where volunteers make blankets for critically ill and traumatized children.

Blankets made at the event will be delivered to children in Mesa County hospitals. All students and members of the public are invited to participate.

CMU's Circle K Club is in its 12th year and serves the community through events like Habitat for Humanity build days and a canned food drive for Kids Aid Project Backpack.

Project Linus will happen March 6 in the third floor lounge area of CMU's Escalante Hall from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
