MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) - A suspect was arrested Monday morning after he fled from Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers attempting to arrest him on an outstanding warrant.
Around 9:15 a.m., the man fled driving a U-Haul vehicle in the Highline Lake area in Loma.
After being pursued by local law enforcement and Colorado State Patrol on Interstate 70, the suspect stopped on the frontage road between 23 and 23 1/2 roads.
About 10:30 a.m., the suspect was taken into custody.
The man's name and his charges are not immediately known.
CPW did not immediately respond for comment. WesternSlopeNow will update this story when more information becomes available.
