Arrest made after Walmart incident

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) - A woman was arrested Thursday after allegedly brandishing a knife at Walmart employees.

The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m., when 31-year-old Molly Traywick allegedly threatened workers when confronted about shoplifting at the Rimrock Walmart, 2545 Rimrock Ave. The woman reportedly fled on foot before Grand Junction Police Department officers contacted her in the 2500 block of Riverside Parkway.

Traywick was taken into custody without incident. She was arrested on outstanding warrants, felony menacing and attempted shoplifting.

GJPD said this was an isolated incident.
