GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — The United Parcel Service, or UPS, is looking to reduce its global workforce, which could have a big impact here in Western Colorado.
The parcel company tells KREX it expects 75% of its employee reductions will come in the first half of this year.
In a statement to KREX UPS says "In 2023, dynamic external and economic conditions led to lower volume and a more than $9 billion decline in revenue year over year.
The company plans to eliminate roughly 12,000 jobs worldwide over the next several months.
